“You were never meant to carry it all alone.”
Many of my clients come to me burdened by unspoken pain—wrestling with feelings like “I’m not good enough” or “Something must be wrong with me.” Often, these painful beliefs were never theirs to begin with. They were shaped by early life experiences, trauma, neglect, or harmful relationships. Over time, they become the lens through which we see ourselves and the world—distorting our identity, sabotaging relationships, and keeping us stuck.
I’m here to walk with you as we gently uncover the root of those beliefs, deconstruct them, and begin to replace them with truth—truth rooted in both Clinical insight and Biblical wisdom about who you really are.
My therapeutic work centers on helping clients understand how their childhood experiences and attachment styles have influenced their internal world. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or core wounds from the past—I provide a space of compassion, safety, and truth. Together, we’ll identify the harmful beliefs you’ve been carrying, and I’ll walk with you in the process of healing and transformation.
Personal Experience
My passion for becoming a therapist stems from my experience in childhood. I was raised by a single parent who worked multiple jobs to provide a home for us. She struggled with depression, suicidal thoughts but most of all with letting go of things which impacted our home environment (hoarding disorder was officially recognized in 2013). At the age of 10 years old I was placed in Orangewood Children’s Home for the third and final time along with my three siblings. It is at this time I can recall I developed an interest in helping children and families as we worked with a social worker and family therapist for reunification with our parent.
In addition, at the age of 19, I became a single parent. A few years later I left the abusive relationship, and was a divorcee. My life experiences influence my desire and interest in working on attachment, trauma, abuse and couples.
I see myself as your cornerman in the ring—the person cheering you on, reminding you of who you are, and handing you the tools you need to keep fighting. The enemy throws fiery darts, and he would love nothing more than to see you stay down. But you don’t have to stay down.
Professional Experience
I have 10 years of experience working in community mental health, group homes and school districts. For the last five years, my private practice has focused on individuals and couples seeking deeper healing, healthier relationships, and spiritual grounding. I believe therapy can be a sacred space—a place to not only process pain, but to experience restoration.
Using an integrated approach grounded in both Biblical truth and evidence-based clinical practices, I help individuals and couples rediscover their strength, set boundaries, communicate with clarity, and reclaim their God-given identity. I integrate Attachment Core Pattern Therapy, which helps identify, understand, and transform destructive relationship patterns rooted in insecure attachment and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for trauma. Together, these approaches support clients in safely processing past experiences, developing more secure and fulfilling connections, and moving toward meaningful, lasting healing.
I offer therapy in both English and Spanish, and work with young adults, adults and couples across the state of California.
God’s Faithfulness
Today, I’m blessed to be a wife of nearly 15 years, and a mom to two incredible children. Our son attends a Christian university, and our daughter is growing in faith at her Christian school. None of this is lost on me. Every blessing in my life is a testimony to God’s faithfulness.
If you’re reading this and wondering if things could really change for you too—I want you to know they can. You are not alone. God sees you, loves you, and is still writing your story.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you in your healing journey. If you are ready to get started, I offer a 15-min complimentary consultation to see if we are a good fit. I’d love to help you or a member of your family get the help they need to live the life that God designed for them.
